Healthy diet improves depression in young adults, study says – CNN Philippines

Research study participants were asked to cut back on refined carbohydrates; sugar; fatty or processed meats; and soft beverages. Some of the research study participants kept their common unhealthy diet but received extra assistance treatment, while others consumed a diet complete of nuts; seeds; eggs; fruits; vegetables; fatty fish; extra-virgin olive oil; and grass-fed beef. At the end of 3 months, 32% of those following a healthy diet no longer satisfied the criteria for anxiety.
